We reply within {{SUPPORT_RESPONSE_TIME}}. One person reads this address, so plain and specific gets you a faster answer.
It saves a round trip if you include your iOS version, your iPhone model, and what you saw on screen. If a step came out wrong or unusable, paste it in — that is the most useful thing you can send.
Cancel a subscription
Subscriptions are sold and managed by Apple, so cancelling happens in iOS settings and not inside 1%.
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap 1%.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, otherwise the next period is already charged. You keep access until the period you have paid for runs out.
If 1% is not in the list, you are probably signed in to a different Apple Account than the one that bought it.
Restore a purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the app, and the subscription is gone?
- Sign in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription.
- Open 1%, go to Settings, then tap Restore Purchases.
If it still does not come back, send us the date of purchase and the Apple Account email you used, and we will look at it from our side.
Your goal and your progress are stored on the device, not on our servers. Restoring a purchase brings back the subscription, not the streak. Signing in with Apple, on the old phone and the new one, is what carries an account across devices.
Delete your account and data
In the app: Settings, then Account, then Delete Account. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
Deleting the app from your iPhone removes the local database — your goal, your steps and your progress — along with it.
If you cannot get into the app, write to {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} from the address linked to your account and we will do it for you.
Refunds
Apple handles refunds for everything bought through the App Store. We cannot issue one. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and pick the purchase.
A step was wrong or unusable
Steps are written by an AI language model from your goal text. Sometimes one lands badly. Skip it — the next day's step does not depend on you having done it, and skipping does not break anything.
Send the step to {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} if it was clearly off. That is how the generation gets better.
If you are in crisis
1% is a general self-improvement app and is not a substitute for professional advice or care. It is not an emergency service and nobody is monitoring it.
If you are in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself, please contact your local emergency number, or find a free helpline in your country at findahelpline.com.
Privacy questions
Write to {{PRIVACY_EMAIL}}, or read the privacy policy first — it says exactly what leaves your device and where it goes.
