Delete your account

Last updated 2026-08-12

You can delete your 1% account and its data from inside the app, in three taps, without asking anyone. This page describes the route so it can be found from outside the app as well.

In the app

Settings → Account → Delete Account

Open 1%, go to Settings, tap Account, tap Delete Account, and confirm.

Deletion runs straight away. There is no waiting period, no cooling-off window and no reactivation link. Once it is done it cannot be undone, by you or by us.

What is deleted

  • Your account record, and the identifier behind it.
  • The opaque Sign in with Apple identifier, if you used it, and any email address you shared through it. Or the email address you signed in with, if you used a code instead.
  • Your backup — the copy of your goal, your day-by-day steps, your completions, your swaps and your settings that the account was keeping for you.
  • The log of your path generation requests, which held your account identifier alongside the goal text you asked for.

A generated path may stay in our shared cache so identical requests do not have to be regenerated, but that row belongs to the goal rather than to you: it never carried an account identifier, and there is no way to connect it to a person.

The analytics history is the exception. Deleting your account cuts the link on the device straight away — nothing further is reported against you. It does not delete the events already sent, which record that a step was completed or a subscription was bought, never what any of it said. Write to support@onepercentapp.xyz and we will remove those too. See the privacy policy for what they contain.

Your subscription is not part of this. It belongs to your Apple Account, not to your 1% account — the two are never linked on our side. Deleting your account does not cancel it or refund it. Cancel it in the App Store, before or after; see Support.

The copy on your phone is not touched. Deleting the account removes the server copy; it does not wipe your device. The local database goes when you delete the app, which is the last step below.

What deletion does not do

  • It does not cancel your subscription. Apple bills that, and it keeps renewing until you cancel it in the App Store. Cancel first, then delete. How to cancel.
  • It does not refund anything. Refunds are Apple's, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • It does not erase Apple's or RevenueCat's transaction records. Those are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and are not ours to remove.
  • It does not remove an iCloud device backup you made yourself. That backup is yours, in your Apple Account.
  • It does not erase the analytics events already sent, as above. Ask by email and they go too.

Order we suggest

  • Cancel the subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → 1% → Cancel Subscription.
  • Delete the account in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  • Delete the app from your iPhone, which removes the local database with it.

If you cannot open the app

Write to support@onepercentapp.xyz from the email address linked to your account, with the subject Delete my account. We reply within two business days and delete within 30 days at the outside, usually the same day.

If you signed in with Apple using a private relay address, write from that relay address — it reaches us and it is how we match the request to the right account.
